We try and we fail

It's Sunday morning.

I'm at work updating desktops to Windows 10 after unsuccessful trying yesterday. Today it's been going much better. Half the computers will done by tomorrow morning, which is nice.

While the computers go through the automatic process, I'm updating my other website, writing some content. I'm trying to take control of my work and being able to market myself has an educator with skills that fit the current marketplace. My position at work is pretty stable at the moment, but I want to always be trying to get a little better.

Went to a small show last week. The headliners were Colleen Green and Cassie Ramone. Green was excellent and I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Also bought two 7-inches from her, not realize who I was talking to.

It's been a while since I've seen a new act. Used to all the time... 10 years ago. I'd say from the ages of 16-25 I probably went to, on average, a minimum 2-3 shows a month. I saw all kinds of good and awful bands. Helped that for half that time I was in a band. It was how I spent my time, engrossed by the local punk rock music scene. Saw a lot of bands that weren't very good (played in my fair share as well). This show reminded me of those days, except I remembered to bring earplugs and only talked with my partner.

More quotes and urban art.
