I hate when local newscasts state "it's [insert station identification] on your side." I don't believe that for a second. I don't believe that any media outlet has my best interests at heart. Hell, I'm not sure if I have my best interests at heart most of the time. There are factors much stronger than my interests at work in the world televised news. I don't like the fact that they're trying to make me believe that they are somehow like me. If they were like me they wouldn't have reality television on the air anymore.

Is there a flaw in my logic? Probably but I still like that I can get angry about it.
