Unlike retail, my job(s) slow down to a crawl during December. I've got small projects to keep me busy for the next week or so but after that I get "let go" for the holidays. I've got written confirmation I'll be back in the new year but any interruption in pay is difficult. I tried to save but I'm unsure I was frugal enough. The summer will be tough (another bout of unemployment). I don't know why I worrying so much about this. Just seems every time I think I'm getting ahead, I'm not. Didn't think I'd get caught in this trap. Steady underemployment.
