Went shopping today. Boxing Day didn't seem as busy as previous years.
I've only had to work on Boxing Day a couple of times. One year I had three part-time jobs, the worst of which was a seasonal job at Best Buy. I only took the job because I wanted to buy some new headphones using the employee discount (quality headphones, like any audio-visual cables, are marked up something like 200%). I mostly worked the cash register, and it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. It was just another corporate minimum-wage retail job.
