I don't think this is true. I don't see my friends every day (or even every week) but they're still my friends. And my closest friends are still may closest friends (sort of). We pick up where we left off, often with lengthy conservation catching up. It's different. It can be jarring if you're not ready. The advent of social networks have made keeping casual acquaintances easier (I realize this isn't news to anyone, but go with me on this). But everyone is busy. Getting a significant block of free time is difficult, especially if travel is involve (which is always). But regardless, I've made an effort to keep in touch.
I apologize for all the parenthesis. I had general idea of what I wanted to say but no structure. This meant ideas got mashed together. This is practice. Sorry. Today's post was a random quick thoughts.
