Geocaching

This morning I went to an information session about geocaching. I had always been interesting in geocaching but hadn't really looked into it because... well, I don't think there's a good reason. So now I'm going to try it out. And of course there's an app for that! Actually, not having a GPS device may have been the reason. Now with smartphones having assisted GPS, well I'm good to go! I'm going to try to find my first one tomorrow (I'll try to remember to write something detailing the experience).

How did I find out about this information session? Well, I've joined an online outdoor's club in the city. This was my first event. I picked it because a) there wasn't any physical activity involved and b) I was able to see what's what without much commitment. Seems like it could be a right fit for what I'm currently looking for at the moment.
