Better Blogging

In doing research for a workshop I'm giving tomorrow, I started looking into tips and trick for better blogging. One of the things they say to do is add images to your posts. There are also several blogs cautioning against using copyrighted images. I don't use tons of images, but I have from time to time used uncredited images, usually from promotional materials. Seems I should probably go back and change the necessary posts to avoid lawsuits. While I'm a little lax with my personal blog, when I create anything for work I always make sure to credit the necessary people / sources to avoid any problems. Now, I usually edit a little bit I never claim ownership. This is especially true with presentations where it's easy, and quick, to get inspiration from online sources. My trick now is to send an email with several links so people can just read the sources instead of listening to me.
