I was driving to some event and decided to listen to Operation Ivy's Energy, an absolutely fantastic late 80s punk rock record.

Though to myself, "Wow, this record really sounds like teenage rebellion." I don't know if this is true. Operation Ivy, along with Weezer, Rancid, the Specials, Screeching Weasel, and the Misfits, was the soundtrack to high school years. Those songs, along with crowds of people they attract, were the people who influenced me during my formative years (that's the what you call your teens, right?).

So what's the truth? Doubt I could tell without serious thought. Still getting over my cold. Not thinking straight.
