Fuck Twitter

Prologue: I woke up this morning at 5:20, drove to Niagara Falls, set-up a table for an early childhood education conference, and now I wait. Fortunately there's a wireless connection. So while all the attendees are in workshops, I'm going to blog about my day and post the entire thing at the end (or when I get tired for this project).

11:22AM - a little tired from my early start. Forgot the racks in the van so had to go back, walk two blocks with them. It's my own fault. A little hungry. Unsure if lunch will be provide and I can't leave so I really hope it is.

11:24AM - still really bored. It's almost entire female and everyone is at least ten years older than me. The room is a little cold. Wish I had brought a jacket.

11:37AM - while attempting to update this post, I accidentally navigated away, erasing my comic gems. I did save my progress so all wasn't lost. Original update was about how awesome lifehacker is. I really need to get a life.

12:17PM - Lunchtime. Most people just walked right by. This is getting sad.

1:32PM - Sold some books but not very many. Been reading more of my book, Empress of the World. It's part of my job to read, which kind of awesome. This one is an GLBT novel that is good. Very subtle with the topic.

1:41PM - Woman just came and asked if we had books about adoption, but not from the adopted child's point of view but of the family giving the child up. I didn't think we did. If these books don't already exist I think I've found a niche market.

1:56PM - Boss says I have to thank the organizer and tell them we're not coming back again tomorrow. I don't want to do that. That's not a fun job. Boo... maybe I'll just read my book and "forget". ARGH! I can't do that.

3:52PM - Finished the book. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to read an interesting young adult novel that isn't fuckin' Twilight. Almost done. Want to leave right now but have to wait another thirty minutes. It's been a slow day. Got all the boxes open and ready to start packing. Could be done and out of here by 4:55 if I'm quick.
