You Can't Hold Back the Spring

I'm currently under the weather. It's so cold outside. I have no pop culture references for this. I just want to get better before the holiday season really starts. I'm also questioning the legality of some of my employer's labour practices. They're doing some very odd things which I'm not too happy about.

I've been working a lot lately, so I finally put my employee discount to the test today. My last pair of good headphones died over the summer. After purchasing all my Christmas gifts, I decided to buy something for myself - a new pair of headphones. The one I picked didn't have a price tag so I took a chance and went to the register. At a cost of 84 dollars, I had my new headphones. Now, the last pair I bought with an employee discount cost 20 dollars (retail cost: 60), I was upset but these were the ones I wanted so I accepted that the price of headphones had gone up. Little did I know that my new headphones cost... over 200 dollars! Holy shit, that's a good deal. If anyone's wondering, this is what I bought.
