Here's a phrase I hate; "Are you boyfriend and girlfriend?" There are much better ways of asking that question. Here are a few:
"Are you seeing him/her?"
"What's the deal with you and [insert other person's name]?"
"Is it serious?"
"Are you doing him/her?"
"What the fuck is going on with you two?"
Am I wrong for disliking that phrase so much?

i think the question should be "do you pick each other up from the airport?" that's what sealed the deal for me...
