Pampleteer - The Weakerthans
I'm in the midst of a big weakerthans kick. Please do me a favour and buy (or download if you're cheap) Left and Leaving. The entire album is full of great songs. But here's the thing, the music is really only okay. It's the lyrics that absolutely genius. They verge on poetry. So good... During my first week of university this record didn't leave my compact disc player. I explored the cityscape with little bits of poetry following me around. This is the sound of my alienation.
