To the fangeek boys who laughed at me in line to see Serenity

... at least I was there with a girl who wasn't related to me (And who was under the age of 25. And who was actually attractive by social norms. And who lets me play the field). Seriously, the entire theater was full of geeks and these guys laugh at me because I'm interested in random single issues of DC Comics from the 80s.

So what did I do to get back at them? Get very drunk and go to lots of parties. It seems that I'm a minor hit at parties when I'm drunk. I've always thought this but this weekend has proven it true.

Went to the Pride Parade today. It was a very family friendly event, unlike the times I've gone in the past. I've got some pictures, but my computer isn't accepting them at the moment, so I'm stuck. I did, however, enjoy the fact that the front runner for the federal Liberal party was in the parade, along with the mayor and the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP), the socialist party. Sadly, I didn't see any of the Conservatives in the parade, but what can you do? Hell, even the Green party was there and they can barely be considered a real political party.

Okay, pictures to come soon. Music to follow as well.
