How come everytime an American "live" show gets picked up in Canada they make a big deal about it. I'm thinking in particular about The Colbert Report, which aired for the first time this evening in Canada with the usual jokes about Hosiers, how polite we are, beer, and free drugs. They did the same thing when The Daily Show started and, if we got back a while, when Howard Stern became the morning man for a Toronto radio station. Are we that important to these shows demographics?
... And I don't even want to start about when Conan O'Brian came to Toronto (except for the part with Stompin' Tom Connors and the hockey song because that was awesome. The man is a fuckin' institution in my mind).
