After a couple of tries... SUCCESS!

So I still don't know how to do my job properly but that doesn't stop them from leaving me all by myself in the department for an hour. That's how you run a successful business - leave the new guy, whose only been working there three days, in charge for an hour with the corporate bosses coming in the next morning to inspect the place... either way, I'm not worried because A) I'm new so firing for something like this is insane, B) I really don't care about this job (it's fuckin' minimum wage. What do they expect?) and C) I can honestly say that I did my best and that things looked pretty good by the end of it.

Personally, I'm kind of enjoying the total randomness of this job. There doesn't seem to be a rhythm or reason for anything and it's awesome because I'm not responsible for anything. I've just to stack produce. That's my job. I'm not paid enough to actually care about what customers say to me. I'm not going to improve shit. I'm going to do what people tell me to do and that's it. There are some tasks that seem to be job requirements, but I think I've got to figure those out for myself beacuse no one seems to want to tell me. My personal favourite thing about this job is that I'm taking most of my orders from kids ten years younger than me. That was me in high school. God, when did I get "old"... and I'm not even old yet.

Tomorrow I start school again. Here's hoping that goes better than the job currently is.
