holy shit. It's been so long since I last post here. What's happened to me? Nothing really. The time since I posted last and now I moved back to school, which took up a lot of my time. But still, it doesn't take that long to write a short paragraph of something stupid. I mean, I talk enough that I should be able to spew this stuff out like it was no one's business. Mind you, I think I tried once to post, but my server was being all stupid and shit. It took so long that I gave up on the whole thing after about ten mintues (wierd that I waited that long in this world of quick service and shit).

Anyway, what I've been thinking about for the last little while is Moby (not in any sexual way, but one must admit that he's one interesting person that one could fantasy about). Like almost every other semi-musical person I own a copy of Play. No doubt that it was one of the better albums produced in 1999. What interesting is I also own a copy of Animal Rights, his punk rock/speed metal album. It surprisingly good for someone whose known primarily for his DJ work and Dance music. Anyway, I was watching "The Story of Moby" on MuchMoreMusic (Canadian version of VH1) and was throughly impressed by Moby's ability to speak on a varying degrees of topics. Yeah, when it came to his music, there was a bit too much artistic talk there but that's understandable since the man's got some interesting views. What caught my attention wasn't so much was was on that show, but something in the most recent Spin magazine. They asked him to comment on a bunch of popular singles that had been released in the past 12 months. Right beside his comments where those of the girl metal band Kittie (who I think are one of the most annoying bands on the planet right now... not counting any boy/girl bands). Pitting those two comments right beside each other made Moby look like a genius. His comments were insightful, interesting and surprising while Kittie's were... well, not those qualities. If you can head into a bookstore (like Chapters) and read the magazine that would the best. I can't remember what exactly he said, but pick it up (don't buy it because there isn't a hell of lot else in there worth reading). Anyway, that's all.
