There are two versions of the events of last night. Here are both:
1. Went to a bar in Venice Beach, and saw legendary director Quentin Tarantino. Had to walk by a couple of times but was absolutely sure it was him. Confirmed later by someone who works in the entertainment industry.
2. Went to a bar in Venice Beach where I met Quentin Tarantino. Did shots with him while Madonna's classic hit "like a virgin" played in the background. Sadly left my digital camera in the car, but he totally would have posed for a picture.
I choose to believe the second one. You can believe whatever you want.

Name a band from Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is named after William Pitt, an 18th century British Prime Minister. This is what I learned in school today.
Also, I have a library card from each of these cities: Markham, Richmond Hill, Winnipeg, Windsor, & Toronto.

What I watched on television last night
Who would have thought that Kelly Clarkson's finale at the 2005 MTV Music Video Awards would truly be the highlight of the night. It was a fantastic version of great pop song.
I honestly believe that the only way you can watch an award show is if you're going something else at the same time. They're so boring. Every last one of them. A couple of years ago, I used to enjoy the MTV Music Video Awards but now even they are lacking something. Maybe I'm just too old to truly enjoy youth culture.
