Please be on your honour

Went to Riotfest on Sunday. Ran into a couple of old coworkers & friends, and overall it was nice day. Missed the first two bands. Best Coast were more mellow than I expected (still good). Dinosaur Jr. were a surprise to me because I've never really gotten into them. Rocket from the Crypt were fantastic and Speedo seemed to be having a blast with egging on the crowd. I posted a short video I took on my tumblr. The Weakerthans were as reliably good as ever. Iggy and the Stooges... I'm not really into them and they didn't convince me otherwise but they put on a good show and lots of people were into them. The Replacements reunion (you can hear the entire thing) was good and they ended very strong, not just in terms of song selection (Bastards of Young & IOU) but also got tighter as the set progressed. Overall, it was a nice cool, summer day to watch a bunch of excellent bands.
