Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Round and Round (via Pitchfork)
Okay, so Kanye gets two single in the top ten, LCD Soundsystem and Arcade Fire are also there but the top spot goes to... who? Seems I'm out of touch with hipster singles. I knew and had heard every other single in the top ten (including my pick of Robyn) but not this one. On first listen? It's okay. Doesn't really grab me like some of the others but not all songs are supposed to be catchy pop songs. But that's what I like in a single - a catchy tune.
What was Rolling Stone's top single? Kanye's Runaway (came in 2nd)
And Spin? Cee Lo's Fuck You (wasn't in pitchfork's top ten)
On a slightly different note - has anyone seen the new Spike Jonze directed Arcade Fire video for "the Suburbs"? It's fantastic. Totally captures the mood of the song.
