Patience

I worked at Best Buy one holiday season. The only reason I took the job (and not another) was I wanted the discount on headphones. Bought these $229.99 headphones for $80, taxes included. About six months ago the detachable cord, a real plus in my mind, did was cords do and stop working well (no sound out of the left speaker). Since then I've been looking for a replacement cord. Seems that the standard cord doesn't fit in the headphone so you've got buy the special Panasonic cord. I made several calls to several retailers and Panasonic customer support and the only person who could answer my question was an estore representative. I thought it would be an easy problem to solve. I finally tracked down the place that sells the cord. The replacement cord costs $33.45 plus tax and I'd have to pick it up in Mississauga. I guess it's true - it's never as easy as you think it'll be.

FYI I've got iTunes on shuffle while I write this post and Patience by Guns n' Roses is playing. eerie...
