As kisses go, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary

As always, I'm trying to organize my computer. I've bought (okay, borrowed) books on the subject, read countless blog posts, listened to podcasts, and downloaded a number of free programs that should, in theory, simplify my digital life. While some things have been more productive than others, the one area that I can't change seems to be my iTunes. I seem to be lacking the ability to organize beyond making sure the artists and song title correct. The problem is getting exponentially worse with each day because I keep adding music. I don't know if I can get a handle on it. I tried a couple of months ago (during the four day uploading marathon) but I didn't get very far. I started with the genre because that was something rather subjective that I could change. I got to "D" before I gave up.

I think a schedule is necessary. I need to dedicate about twenty minutes a day to this task until I get it done. Twenty minutes of systematically going through my library to ensure that all the information is correct. Now, in six months I was planning on upgrading my computer, which means I new iTunes program so my question is this: will all these changes be reflected in the new program. The answer to this question is probably easily accessible if went searching for it but I like to remain in the dark.
