Tonight is the last Friday night dance of the summer. It's the Prom. The campers get dressed up. It's a big deal. The older campers decorate the Rec Hall. Tonight's theme is outer space. Several counsellors dressed up like Jedi Knights. I spent the night checking over swimming report cards, putting together packages, answering the telephones, and watching kids who got into a fight over a cup of juice.
Sounds almost exactly like how I spent my senior prom... except totally different.
Going to up at camp for another two weeks after camp ends on Sunday.
Will start posting regularly in the fall.
