So... Since it's the summer movie season (and I have money), I have been going to movies again. Here's what I noticed at the movies this weekend:
1. Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is a much funnier movie when seen in a theatre with teenagers.
2. Forbidden Kingdom is a great family movie and what I'd term a "gateway movie." It's littered references to classic kung fu movies and could lead to several excellent movie marathons, including the Drunken Master series and Once Upon a Time in China.
Neither film was great but I don't feel totally ripped off. Next weekend - IRON MAN!
