Over the weekend I saw an old friend. We had a great time and it was very good seeing her again. The next day I started thinking about the various conversations we had over the course of the night and it seems to me that my friends are on two very different paths in life. Some are starting to settle down while others are not quite ready for that step (and may never be) and are out seeing different parts of the world. Either options seems wrong to me but I don't feel particularly drawn to either options. There's got to be a third way... actually, I should rephrase this entire post because I already thought of a third way - those people who are still in school. I need to find a fourth way, a way beyond all these other paths.
This is another in a series of "life in crisis" posts that have recently clogged up my blog. Seems I can't get over these ideas.
