I will see you tonight on a downtown train
I don't know if I've expressed my undying love for bad kung-fu movies? Well I have one and to satisfy this desire I decided to go see The Protector. I planned my route via the Windsor bus system to get the theater. I got on my first bus alright but the second bus... well I've seen a lot more of Windsor now. Missed the movie completely. I did finish Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, which is really good. I've also decided that I will begin to judge a city by the state of its transit system. Windsor is an average city, while Winnipeg, for example, had a decent public transit system but was undervalued and used, which made it kind of depressing to use. New York City's tranist system was busy and full of life while Toronto's transit system is unsure of where it's going. It's functional but doesn't have a voice of its own just yet (even though it's over 100 years old). These are my opinions. More to tell you after I visit more places.
