Away from home, away from you

So I'm officially living in a residence building called "Alumni Hall" in Windsor, waiting for my classes to start. I only today got my internet connection to work in my room. Something about the tech people not working on the long weekend. That's kind of stupid in my mind because it's the weekend that all the kids move into the residences and most of them want/need their internet working.

Anyway, I've got a new roommate who I met for five seconds before he said, "I'm not moving in right now. I'll be back next Sunday" which means that I've got my little "suite" to myself. Doesn't really mean anything except that I don't have to worry too much about being loud or asking someone to be quiet so I can sleep.

I've got a cold beacuse, in a moment of weakness, I smoked half a pack of cigarettes on the first day. Don't judge. I was anxious and couldn't do anything else about it and now I'm paying the price. Stupid quitting for little less than a year and this is what I get. BOO

Oh, the room comes with free cable television. The new CW network is included in the package. Veronica Mars is on the CW. Totally awesome.

I've decided that one of my goals this year to see Motown. I'm across the river from Detriot so I figure I should take advantage of it. Maybe run into Jack White...
