So my external harddrive is dead. No chance of recovery (unless I'm willing to spend hundreds of dollars that I don't have to recover maybe a tenth of what was lost). I thank god I've got Gmail and this blog because the best pictures I've taken with my digital camera are saved. It's too bad, but there's nothing I can do. If I sent you a picture, please email it back to me 'cause chances are I lost it. What this measn is I'm moving all my CDs to Windsor because I'm that kind of person.
This was also my last day of work, which was nice because it means that I'm that much closer to starting school and moving. Hasn't really felt like things are going to change yet because I've been working full-time.
Plans are in the works to see several old friends this weekend and get new stuff (the money was going to spend on the computer stuff is now going to buying the following records: The Pipettes, DangerDoom, The new Cardigans record, and probably lots more - I had all of these on my computer before I foolish made a mistake which will be referred to as The Moment I Became a Luddite. Movie coming shortly).
No HNT 'cause I don't have any pictures.

Computers are evil.
Usually I have a zillion backups, because knowing Microsoft, Windows will die, my harddrive will explode, my flashdrive will be stolen, my house will burn down. . . and yes, it will all be Microsoft's fault. But I'm a bit behind on the backups at the moment. Must do that, especially since my boy's computer just died.
Do you have any super-smart computer nerd friends who could look at it for you?
I went to the computer store and they said that the machine was "dead." At this moment in time, I was just glad to have the money back since I really didn't have the money to spend in the first place. I'll just take more pictures and enjoy the ones I have right now.
