100 Things -- the first half (1-50)

I've seen this list on everyone else blog so I thought it was a fine time that my blog at one too.

1. Veronica Mars is my current favourite show, but pervious favourites have included Angel, the OC, Sportsnight, The Muppet Show, and The Adventure of Brisco County Jr.
2. Almost everyone I know doesn't remember The Adventure of Brisco Country Jr. which is unforunate because I truly loved that show.
3. As a child I had to take piano lessons and like every child I hated practicing.
4. I read almost anything that I come across. ANYTHING
5. Bryan Adams was the first concert I ever went to without any adults.
6. I got my first real kiss at that concert during Summer of '69 (I think, but I'm not totally sure about that but for the sake of my story that's the song I'm picking).
7. I have never had a good paying job.
8. In grade nine, I wore the same style of shirt everyday. I thought I was so cool.
9. I had long hair in my first driver's licence picture. I looked like a thug.
10. As a child I had a dog but I don't believe I'll ever own one.
11.My high school friends and I used to spend many nights hanging outside of a coffee shop where we'd try to do silly things like picking up cars.
12. I don't drink coffee
13. I have horrible dislike of reality television because of the lack of grand narratives.
14. Also, they seem very shallow and this is from a guy who watches The OC weekly.
15. As a child, I was afraid of water, heights, and dogs.
16. The only thing I still don't really like are heights that I could easily fall off of (like a cliff or something).
17. I don't enjoy talking on the phone, but I understand why I need to use it and have one.
18. I misplace things ALL the time,
19. The usual missing objects are my wallet, my car keys, and the remote control for the television (which is currently missing and I'm having to use the VCR remote to change the channels).
20. In middle school, I was really into hard rock.
21. In high school, I was totally into punk and indie rock.
22. In univeristy, I played way too many alt-country records.
23. I have never liked dance music
24. I have been "cut off" at the bar without even having a drink.
25. My favourite film genre is teen comedies. Don't judge.

26. I really, really like puns.
27. I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. Oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood -- I quote pop songs all the time.
28. In a very sad way, many of my friends have at one time in my life told me that I remind them of the protagonist from High Fidelity (and not because of the music thing).
29. I really hope that this trend does not continue.
30. My clothes are never in the drawers.
31. As a child, I used to build bases that encompassed my entire room
32. I have only lived in basement apartments.
33. If given the choice, I'd always choose reading a comic book over any other paperback novels.
34. While I have many stories, I haven't mastered telling these stories yet.
35. If you bake me a pie, I'll be your friend for life.
36. Several music videos have ruined songs for me (i.e. Crazy In Love).
37. I have owned my screenname, and email address, since I was 15 years old.
38. I want so badly to believe that there is truth and love is real.
39. The secret of dancing will return to me one day (probably while I'm drunk).
40. I dislike the fact that I find it necessary to have a cellphone.
41. I will watch almost any television show or movie but have a passionate dislike of reality television (it needs to be mentioned twice because that's how much I hate it).
42. I do not have a favourite comic series.
43. I do not like green eggs and ham.
44. My digital camera has changed my life in ways I only just beginning to understand.
45. I use certain records to see where I'm at emotionally.
46. I truly enjoying reading academic books about semiotics and history, so it's a good thing that those were my majors in college.
47. I enjoyed my university experience.
48. The bedroom has always been a good place to me.
49. I have more female friends than male friends.
50. Several people when they first met me think I'm gay, including an ex-girlfriend's entire family.
