chasing heather crazy

For reasons beyond my control, I have just seen the movie Stick It. It was horrible in that way that only truly bad movies can be. Afterall, the selling point for the movie was that it was from the writer of Bring It On. I laughed at all the wrong times. Punk rock is now been totally co-opted. Since when did wearing vintage punk rock t-shirts become the ONLY symbol for rebellion? Bad Religion, Bad Brains, Black Flag, the Ramones, and the Sex Pistols (okay, I'm not sure about the last one, but it would make sense) - all used by the producers of this film to tell the audience that the protagonist has a fire in her belly and doesn't like authority. And there's the play on words in the title. Gotta love teen angst. I wish I had that teenage feeling... or maybe I don't.

That Teenage Feeling - Neko Case

I'm not lying. I didn't like it. Just because you dragged me to see it, UFC, doesn't mean that I enjoyed myself.
