Since I'm "people who know people," I got to see a sneak preview of V for Vendetta. The movie was okay; heavy handed with its politics, but still okay. The graphic novel is better. Anyway, it was this comment that made my day:
Girl sitting behind me during a random part of the movie: I'm confused.
Our reaction (my friends and I): quiet laughter
A little later, same girl: I'm confused
Her friend: SHHHHHHH!
Our reaction: more quiet laughter.
Believe me, the movie wasn't hard to follow and the screening was at the university so...
