25 things about ryansenseless

In exactly one week, I'll have passed the quarter century mark in my life. In honour of this event, I'm creating my own silly list of 25 things about me.

1. When I was in junior high, my favourite band was Guns n' Roses.
2. I have yet to finish Crime and Punishment.
3. I enjoy going to movies by myself (other people just get in the way) and have been the only person in the theater twice.
4. My grandmother bought me my first comic. It was the Fantastic Four.
5. I have an intense dislike of face painting.
6. As a child, I didn't like the family trip to DisneyWorld. I did, however, like Epcot Centre.
7. I have only once had to work/go to school on my birthday. I was very, very drunk and only made it through ten minutes.
8. I have played in bands with several semi-famous people.
9. There was a very limited window of time when I was cool.
10. I hate talking on the telephone.
11. Grammar & spelling have never been my strong suit.
12. Optic Nerve is the only comic I have convinced a girl to read.
13. I have a vinyl, cassette tape, and compact disc copy of Look Sharp! by Joe Jackson and My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello. Don't ask why.
14. I drive everywhere with a map of the province because I like taking the backroads.
15. I sometimes think I'm having a minor heart attack.
16. I have a cowboy hat that I saved from the trash only to find out it was my friend's who would have totally given it to me if she knew I wanted it.
17. I find it unforunate that people remember my birthday because it falls on a holiday and I sadly can't return the favour.
18. Ever since seeing Enter the Dragon at the age of five, I have had a love for kung-fu movies.
19. I don't think I could handle living in a rural area. I'm an city dweller.
20. I have seen things I don't think I could ever understand.
21. I have never been very good with saving money like the rest of my family.
22. The only major form of transportation that I haven't undertaken a long journey on is by boat.
23. I hate starting in the middle of anything (books, television shows, comic book series, movies). Destroys the narrative flow.
24. I have had to run from several situations because if I stayed there would have been trouble.
25. Music videos often ruin perfectly good songs for me.
