
Today I finally bought the lastest copy of Optic Nerve. It's a comic book created by Adrian Tomine, and let me tell you he's not one for deadlines. Since 1995, TEN issues have come out (perspective time, folks: In that same time period, the average superhero comics has released 120 issues). That's one a year (which is roughly the schedule he's been following). The worst part about is that issue nine was the first part of a three issue story arc. That means I'm going to have to wait TWO years to get some narrative closure.
That being said, it's worth the wait. These comics are good... worth their weight in gold (which isn't that much because they're only 24 pages of high quality paper). Here's a sample of his work
