don't fear the reaper

...just fear this and this. Seriously, what is wrong with music these days? I understand that people are allow to have their own tastes but these two example show that some people shouldn't be allow near a music instrutment. EVER. This, however, is just funny.

Here's the question I thought about at work today: Is there a genre of music that I don't like at all? A genre where I couldn't find one redeeming feature/artist. I gave this question lots of thought because it was very difficult, at first I thought new country, but then I remembered that Garth Brooks isn't THAT bad. Metal? nope. Death Metal? hmm... that might be one. Hardcore European dance music? Yeah, I don't like that. I don't like recorded world music, but I enjoy all forms of "traditional" music when performed live. Must have something to do with the context. Free Jazz? nope, that's not one.

Anyway, I leave the question open to everyone else. What type of music do you hate without rhythm or reason? For me, it's Euro-electronica dance music. You know what I'm talking about. It's got the huge beats with the cheesy keyboard parts over top. I hate that. Might have to find an example. I don't think I could do it. Anyway, here's your chance to add your two cents.

um, I have a lot of difficulty with "new jazz" (is that the same as "free jazz?"). more specifically I am thinking here of Kenny G.
