Okay, let's get serious here.

Most Enjoyable Movie of 2005: Serenity
Runner-Up to the Most Enjoyable Move of 2005: Broken Flowers/Sin City

I realize that the film wasn't technically the best movie to come out this year, but it was certainly the most enjoyable for me. I'll be the first to admit that this movie probably isn't for everyone, but everything about it was SO good. It had witty dialogue, okay special effects, and great characterization. Yeah, it helps a bit if you've seen the show, Firefly, the movie based on, but it really isn't necessary. It was just good.

I guess I'm not really that good at explaining why I like things. I just do. This is why I focus on the negative. It's really easy to figure exactly why you don't like something. Liking something is more difficult. I tell you exactly why I hate people, but if you ask why I like someone... it gets all complex. Or maybe I just don't want to tell you. That's probably it. Anyway, everyone should head over to Pitchfork to see their list of the best singles of 2005. They don't agree with me, but that's okay. I'm right and they're wrong.
