decisions, decisions, decisions...

Like everyone, I have certain interests that eat up most of my free time. Some of these are hobbies while others lack a specific category that I can name off the top of my head. The problem is when you've spread yourself too thin and can't really commit to any of your interests because there just isn't enough time in the day. Between going to school, working, and sleeping there's only so much time leftover. So, the question becomes what do you eliminate from your life? This is a difficult decision because it involves denying yourself the small pleasure you gained from that experience. I might be in denial but denying isn't something I very good at (re: smoking). So, here's the conclusions I've come to: I've got to cut television out of my life. Slowly. I'm going to make a list of television shows I will watch on a regular basis, but otherwise I'm going to limit my random television watching. For example, I will make a point of watching/taping Veronica Mars (I had to mention it... I'm talking about television). I don't think I'm going to make a real point of getting involved with Lost. I sort of started with that one, but it's nothing serious yet. Tuesdays are going to be bad because Bones and House are on. Thursdays used to be OC night, but I'm not interested in it at all. It's so last year...
Okay, so here's what I'm going to watch:
Monday: Arrested Development
Tuesday: Bones and House
Wednesday: Veronica Mars
That's it for primetime television for me. Since I've written it down here, it must be true.
