Saturday is fun day (even though Sunday rhythms with fun day)

Over the weekend I purchased three compact discs for three dollars, learned to make some new dishes, and realized that I can't work a deadend job for the hell of it.

Let me explain.

First, I was in Hamilton on Saturday because I need to do something fun and I hadn't seen my friend Gregor in a couple of weeks. Sadly, I couldn't get a hold of him before I arrived in the city so I had to spend the afternoon with another friend randomly exploring the city. This lead us to the Sonic Unyon store. Now, the Sonic Unyon store maybe the only thing that actually makes Hamilton "cool." I've been the this store many times. In fact, I go there everytime I'm in Hamilton. This time they had a warehouse clearance sale, with everything in the store marked down by 20% and about four tables full of $1 CDs. Nothing awesome on the $1 tables, but for a dollar you can't really go wrong. I can justify a random $10 CD purchase, so $1 doesn't even phase me.

On Sunday, I went to work. Now, the job itself isn't that bad. The time passes relatively quickly and the work isn't that backbreaking. It's just not something I want to be doing five days a week. So, I'm going to continue to look for work while still working this job because I can't afford to be unemployed anymore. Hopefully some other leads with come through in the coming weeks.

As for learning to cook... well, another one of my friends took time out of their busy schedule to teach me some basic Indian dishes. They were fairly simple and I wrote everything down, including amounts (something I forgot to do last time I wanted to learn how to cook something for someone). Unlike some people, I can't cook without a recipe of some sort. I'm not that talented.
