doing things in the right order makes life easier

I never thought sequences would be so important. I laugh when I say this to myself because I'm such a fan of sequential art, a.k.a. comic books, where how things are arrange is of the utmost importance. And in math, where they teach every school kid BEDMAS (brackets, equations, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction) so that they know the proper order of solving stuff. Grammar is all about the sequencing of words... or is that semantics or syntax? No, it's syntax. Semantics has to do with the meaning of words. There's that great line in that Smugglers' song, Death of a Romantic, that talks about semantics. I can't remember it right now, but it exists. But I digress... So, sequence. Are you reading these posts chronologically? I only ask because the most recent posts are what you see first, so the questions could be answered before they're even asked, in the eyes of the reader. Does it really matter? Does sequence really matter on the Internet? When it comes to pop music, what came before is irrelevant. Most people don't even care if a song is an original or a cover. My history informs my present, but doesn't my future also do the same thing?

This post is a ramble of thoughts, questions, and half-truths. There is no rhythm and there certainly isn't a flow, but there is a reason, flawed as it may be. I'll be back tomorrow with the usual random comments on popular culture and my life.
