I just saw the new movie Fever Pitch, the romantic-comedy "based" upon the book by Nick Hornby. It wasn't that good, just your usual romantic-comedy movie, which is unforunate because the last two movies based upon Nick Hornby's books have been really good. High Fidelity and About A Boy were both excellent films, staying as true to the books as possible but making changes both chronologically (in About A Boy) and geographically (High Fidelity). But Fever Pitch didn't have that same feeling the other two movies did. It honestly felt like normal Hollywood fare.
