the truth is in the details

I'm looking around on the web, and I go to the often funny and sometimes scary Cruel Site of the Day. Today's entry was to this "goth" (although she doesn't want to classify herself as that) chat with some dumbo over the ICQ. That was funny enough, but I look around and well... it's our average personal website (much better designed that your's truly's site). What really got my goat is one of the links to a page called nothingisreal.com... man, that's so fuckin' lame. Great, if nothing is real than why are you producing something like that? Think through the logic here folks. If nothing is real, than whatever youn say over the Internet isn't real. Now, in the most people's minds if something isn't real it isn't true either. You can't be true if you're not real. It's a connection that some of us make. So... if if we substitute the word "real" for "true" we end up with the sentence "nothing is true" which is itself a paradox. Now, that's my inital thinking of that. Some people might not get the same thing out of that sentence, and they're smarter people than myself, but that's what I see. And of course, everything about the site is about the author's quest to get down some girl's paints... of course now I'm just being rude. There are probably some interesting things on the webpage, but I can't be bothered to check. The domain name has pissed me off that much. Oh well, that's me ranting... I'm done. See ya
