I'm spending the day indoor trying to put together some lessons on the Conscription Crisis of 1917 & the Russian Revolution. My hope is that I'll be able to play this song during my lesson about Russia.

On a completely different tangent, The Green Arrow made his first appearance on Smallville tonight. This is the third DC character to make a guest appearance on the show, and it's by far and away the best characterization thus far. Pervious example, such as the Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman, were annoying and completely stupid. The interesting thing about the Green Arrow is that several years ago the editors decided to kill the character off and replace him with a "new" Green Arrow. In the current DC universe, all the "hot" writers are including him in the major storylines so he's now very cool... I think it's cause Kevin Smith. That's actually my theory about many things.
